Early in my career I faced a transformational moment that changed the trajectory of my professional future. After earning degrees in mechanical engineering, I took on a role squarely in my wheelhouse as a manufacturing engineer. Two years later, I was tapped for a leadership position to implement Lean principles to transform a manufacturing site with hundreds of employees, most of whom had years more experience than me. Successfully driving a significant cultural change in this role was truly a lightbulb moment for me. The satisfaction of developing a team, creating efficient processes, and using critical thinking skills to solve complex problems led me to pivot my career path to supply chain and procurement leadership, where I continue to apply these principles to grow and transform organizations.CAREER OVERVIEWAfter continuing to grow in leadership roles at Coty, Inc., where I started as a manufacturing engineer and was promoted four times to become Director, Global External Supply Chain, I took on a global procurement leadership roles at Avon Products, Inc., and then at L’Oréal. From there, I was recruited by Edgewell Personal Care as the Head of Global Direct Procurement. Following the significant transformation of my team, Two years later, I was promoted to VP and Chief Procurement Officer. When the company was considering a large-scale acquisition, I was hand-selected by C-suite leaders to plan start-to-finish integration strategies and processes. At the conclusion of this 1-year role, I rejoined the executive leadership team in an expanded role as Senior VP, Global Supply Chain and Procurement.In 2022, I joined Estée Lauder in a newly created role as Vice President, Global Direct Procurement to drive direct procurement strategy and results.
