• Representing the organization in 3GPP SA2 working group with the objective to push the product, solution and business strategy for the mobile & wireless network.• Preparing strategy, performing technical research, collaborating with mobile operators and competing vendors to successfully steer the mobile network standardization in the direction set by the organization. • Some of the major work items handled recently: UPCON (User Plane Congestion Management), FMSS (Flexible Mobile Steering Services), CUPS (Control & User plane separation of EPC nodes), NextGen (Next Generation System Architecture for 5G network).• Lead the definition of 5G system architecture within Cisco and in 3GPP standards. Proposed various innovative, radical but also practical ideas such as interconnection of core-network control-plane function using Message Bus-like approach; defining 3GPP procedures like APIs which can be re-used within and outside of the core network.• Actively participated in 3GPP based M2M communications architecture and various features. Consistently demonstrated timely turnaround, quick and accurate analysis of the problem and solution.• Helping and working with account team to build new technological solution.• Successfully built script based tool to simulate various EPC nodes for testing the EPC products. This tool is the choice of the tool for the product developers and QA team in the organization.• Proposed and successfully demonstrated various innovative ideas to improve development, operational efficiency, testing methodologies.
