I completed my M. Tech in Transportation Engineering and Planning from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, in 2022-2024. During my M. Tech program, I developed an interest in transport planning, travel demand modeling, traffic simulation, and pavement design. I have basic proficiency in PTV VISSIM, PTV VISUM, ArcGIS, QGIS, IITPAVE, and SIDRA. I was also involved in a consultancy project for intersection design in Rajkot city as part of my transportation group project during the M. Tech program. My dissertation focused on optimizing bus transit operations, considering the behavioral differences of urban commuters.During my coursework, I worked on group project topics such as “Sight Distance-Based Reliability Analysis for Two-Lane Highway: A Case Study of Rolling Terrain,” “Travel Behavior Analysis of Vulnerable Population using Smartcard Data: A Case Study of Surat City,” and "Road Safety Audit of NH 53, the stretch from Palsana to Dream City Khajod."I completed my summer internship at Fortress Infracon Limited, Thane, Maharashtra. As an intern, I was involved in projects that were under bidding, initiated by Maharashtra PWD and MMRDA.Apart from academics, I also worked as a Student Placement Coordinator for my batch during the M. Tech program. This role helped me develop communication and leadership skills. Additionally, I was part of the student volunteer committee for the Conference on Transportation Research Group (CTRG 2023), jointly organized by the TRG group and the Transportation Engineering and Planning section at SVNIT, held from 17th to 20th December 2023.
