Pioneering the role as the inaugural Finance Head for India, I led initiatives to modernize legacy processes, enhancing reporting efficiency and facilitating agile decision-making.My responsibilities encompassed the transformation of reporting formats, optimizing Yearly Budgeting Activity, Monthly Income Statement, Weekly Mark-to-Market Reporting, and Daily Inventory Snapshot, Forex Position, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Balances updates.I also played a pivotal role in expanding banking relations by skillfully negotiating favorable terms and conditions across a spectrum of financial instruments, including Overdrafts, Cash Credits, LCs, BGs, Warehouse limits, Vendor Bill Discounting, and Buyers' Credit.In the realm of legal and audit affairs, I managed and represented all legal matters for both India and the corporate office, engaging with legal firms, and overseeing the vetting of critical legal documents. Additionally, I ensured the timely closure of monthly and yearly books of accounts, obtaining sign-offs from internal and statutory auditors, and facilitating seamless group consolidation.Beyond my role in India, I had the privilege of supporting the Corporate Office in Singapore with group consolidation of financial statements and budgeting. Moreover, I provided invaluable assistance to the Ivory Coast business office in West Africa, conducting rigorous control checks across Accounts, Finances, and Taxation.

At MM & Co, I had the privilege to spearhead and manage the entire statutory audit division single-handedly, showcasing my capability to handle diverse responsibilities effectively.During my tenure, I had the opportunity to conduct statutory audits and compliance reviews for a wide array of clients across various sectors. Notable engagements included overseeing audits for renowned organizations such as Theobroma Foods, a nationwide leader in manufacturing and distribution of bakery products, Agritrade India, a prominent multinational company, Anil Kapoor Films, recipient of national and international film awards, Contileo Films, a notable Indian television production company, among many others.

In my journey through statutory audit, financial due diligence, and valuation tasks, SSPA marked the beginning of my professional career in 2012. Under the mentorship of esteemed professionals such as Mr. Parag Ved, Mr. Sujal Shah, and Mr. Ajay Sakpal, I garnered invaluable experience and honed my skills.Working closely with Mr. Ajay Sakpal, I had the privilege of conducting statutory audits for prominent manufacturing entities like Bisleri International, boasting 22 manufacturing units nationwide, and Embio Limited, a leading pharmaceutical company.Moreover, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Mr. Parag Ved and Mr. Sujal Shah on valuation projects, where I played a pivotal role in financial due diligence. This experience provided me with a deeper understanding of approaching balance sheet reviews from a valuation perspective, further refining my expertise.Throughout my tenure, I led statutory audit teams, comprising 4 article assistants, 1 reporting manager, and 2 signing partners, ensuring efficient execution and delivery of high-quality services.
