Verify project equipment and piping erection as per P&ID and Plant layout. If any deviation found responsible to correct and resolve that types of problem. Responsibilities:-• Working as Maintenance Engineer on running plant.• Commissioning of New expansion projects in the existing plant.• Erection and commissioning of new system for modification or improvement of theexisting plant• Preventive & daily maintenance of different chemical process equipment’s likePumps, Bucket Elevator, Scrapper conveyors, Glass lined Reactors, EOT crane, Scrubbers, Air Compressor, pulverizer, rubber lined tank etc.• Handling maintenance activity through SAP (ERP module). • Conducting ISO Audits and other In House Audits like Maintenance Audit Protocol, 5SAudit etc.• Scheduling and adherence of Preventive & Predictive Maintenance activity.• Effective Handling of Contractors and AMCs.• Indent of Materials and spare management.• Managing the WCM activities and safe maintenance practices.• Compliance of legal and statutory requirement of pressure vessel and lifting tools &tackles.

Brief Description:- VCM Plant is one of the most challenging plant across the entire DMD Site. As it is clear from the material it handles which are mainly Chlorine, Ethylene, Anhydrous HCL, Ethylene Di- Chloride, Caustic soda, the plant provides tremendous work opportunities for Maintenance Engineers. Our work as a maintenance engineer is to ensure full functioning of the plant equipment’s with zero or no production downtime. The job includes manpower handling, overall equipment maintenance, material handling, quality assurance and work order management which includes both system work as well as on the job role.Day-to-day activities:-• Part of Planning for preventive maintenance. Major overhauling for all rotary equipment and breakdown maintenance activities.• Daily job distribution to technicians.• Supervise Mechanical Maintenance task execution with quality. Troubleshooting and analysis.• Ensure compliance to standards, procedures and best practices. • Coordinate with CES Mechanical for technical support and inputs.• Conduct analysis when appointed as a member of RCA team.• Maintaining/Improving reliability and availability of equipment’s.• Preparation of PIR and DMR daily reports. Oversee timely required Spares procurement.• Interaction with production and process departments on regular basis. Attend plant rake up meeting. Coordination with shift in charge and operator for day to day maintenance planning.• Facilitate and support minor projects.• Monitor & review MOCs from Mechanical perspective.• Investigate and Implement predictive maintenance technologies to improve reliability.• Manage outside contractors working as maintenance support during shutdowns.• Maintaining/Up gradation of engineering documents as per requirements.• Execution of capex & active participation in project work carried out at site.• Breakdown maintenance on top priority with minimum downtime.• Maintain housekeeping in work area and workshop.

Job responsibilities:-• Project Erection Pre-commissioning & Commissioning, Maintenance of Rotary & Static Equipment’s, spare planning.• Checking of isometrics from P&ID and piping GAD. Responsible for identification of Stress Critical lines.• Carrying out pipe and pipe rack routing study and pipe layout for various piping systems.• Interdisciplinary coordination with Equipment & Process department for critical inputs.• Tracking and monitoring of project progress with team members.• Supervision of design and preparation of Special Supports.• Well versed with IBR document preparation, material Segregation, material ground Inspection and Filing of original IBR Material Certificate and documents and drawings.• Supervising experience of pipeline like NG line, jacketed piping line, steam line, insulation line, cooling water line, chilled water line and chilled brine pipe line experience.• Coordinating with Technical Engineers and contractor(s) to develop procedures and methods to improve quality.
