I Built and managed a team of 30 engineers, algorithms developments, and regulatory experts. Design and build a technology demonstrator. FDA clearance submission of the 1st product.

Managed a multigenerational team of 6 engineers in an ever-changing environment; engineered the first go-to-market product that reduces 70% of x-ray radiation in a cath-lab.     ● Applied online collaboration tools and conducted a productive 15 minutes meetings to        coordinate assignments; prioritized tasks, reduced ambiguity and minimize internal conflicts;        presented flexible and creative task assignments tailored to the team capabilities.     ● Designed and implemented image chains containing two Altera Cyclone SOC FPGAs to        manipulate hi-resolution x-ray video in real time; embedded a web server user-interface and        embedded an SQL server in ARM firmware; partnered with algorithm and software teams.Developed a 3D tracking device working together with one algorithm expert, and worked directly with a major market leader in Europe.      ● Engineered a video processor based on TI OMAP-4 and proprietary algorithms to process 2k        pixel videos and to define object location in space for distances up to 2.5 meters with an        accuracy of 3 mm in a frame rate of 10 per second.     ● Utilized a Matlab simulation environment and a Matlab to C++ migration setup on a Linux        virtual machine to support the rapid development of algorithms and accelerate code        debugging.Managed a junior mechanical engineer, developed and implemented proprietary and patented 4-axis motion system.     ● Identified and bridged skill and knowledge gaps, to ensure successful rapid development.     ● Developed a four axis stepper motor driver using an Atmel microprocessor designed to meet        medical device regulations, wrote C++ firmware and developed a low-level C# class to drive        motors in a synchronized way.

Managed a team of 4 engineers; developed a home monitoring device for COPD patients.     ● Created a detailed task list and measurable goals; Followed execution schedule and quality;        Fostered creativity and ideas sharing; Communicate activities and goals to other teams.        All to minimize the time and the cost of the new product development.     ● Reduced the size of the company's previous product from the scale of an ultrasound        machine to the size of a wearable vest, created new market opportunities.     ● Simplified the operation of the device so the patient can use it without the need of trained        personnel, enables self-use of this home monitoring device, increasing overall patient        satisfaction and decreasing treatment cost.Engineered the signal processing and acquisition of 40 low noise analog channels, an FPGA, wireless communication to a PC, and C# code that communicates with the wearable device.     ● Verified the device for medical safety and EMC. Designed the device to meet the FDA and        CE requirements.     ● Developed and patented a low-cost mechanical fixture that holds piezoelectric microphones        array against the patient body, enabled consistent measurements in diverse environments.     ● Engineered a PCB with 40 low noise amplifiers, ADCs, and 8 DACs. Fitted a PCB footprint        of 9cm by 8cm.

Enhanced the rendered image in PC games by improving motion parallax. Parallax is the single most important cue in human depth perception. Developed a system that continuously follows a gamer's eye location relative to the PC screen so the game rendering engine displays correct the image for that player's location. This dramatically increases the 3D experience.     ● Mobilized the team when the probability of success is unclear.      ● Implemented an advanced image processing technics in Matlab and C#.     ● Wrote a business plans to support fundraising activities.

Developed programs that implement “sort” and “test” procedures using C++ and Verilog, as well as designed a high-speed PCB to test Zoran's products, decreased the testing time and overall product cost.

As a member of a group of 2 to 4 HW engineers, I’ve designed and built a SPECT medical device from conceptual idea to a product. This secured FDA approval and the device was sold to clinics. I lead multi-discipline sub-projects and managed subcontractors to enable fast product development. Designed a low noise analog front end for CZT detectors and sampling sensitive signals using A2D and FPGA.

Developed 0.18u devices. Preformed failure analysis and found sensitivity to production parameters, increasing production yield and customers' satisfaction.
