Active in nursing homes and in hospitals, Kaspard is an innovative solution, which contributes to a better assistance of the residents and patients in their move.The nursing staff receives in real time an alarm in case of a fall, information in case of bed exits and reports on the night activities. The detection is realized by a small, contactless device placed high on the wall and very easy to use.Kaspard is based on a 3D depth sensor. It has a very performing algorithm for the movements detection and we have made our own developments for the electronic parts.

The aim of the project was to lead seven undergraduate students to build a drone. The drone had to meet specific requirements regarding the flight, the energy consumption and the budget. The goal was achieved successfully and this program enabled me to develop leadership skills.

Software development (using Python)3D-Side assists surgeons by integrating 3D Technologies in the operating theater. They combine their engineering accuracy with medical expertise to individualize the surgical treatment of each patient.Using 3D softwares, additive manufacturing technologies and strong knowledge of the surgical field, 3D-Side plans complex interventions and provides the surgeon with patient-specific instruments for bone tumor surgery or custom cranial implants. These instruments will reliably transfer the pre-operative planning into the operation room, increasing health care quality while reducing the operating time.
