BNI Yorkshire hosted the first video conference for Dr Ivan Misner in the organisation’s history in 2001, long before Zoom was even a thing! We were the first region to arrange inter-region member conferences with world class external speakers including Allan Pease, Andy Bounds and Penny Power. And we were the first region outside London and the South East to have a chapter over 40, and India was the first country ever to have an average chapter size over 40! One of my proudest achievements is establishing BNI in India between 2003 and 2015 as a beacon of excellence for the organisation and the lives it continues to positively impact there. I’d like to think that I have contributed at least as much as I have gained in serving the organisation and its members.

He is also patron of www.poliochildren.org which supports children affected by polio to help them become independent and self-sufficient to the extent that they can make a positive contribution to society! His vision is to raise 7Crores (GBP £ 1m) per year towards funding the welfare of slum children so they have the promise of a better tomorrow. -
