-Led the successful implementation of a seven year Access to Finance Programme (www.sakchyam.com.np) in Nepal. -Serving as the Team Leader of USD 38 million, market-based UKaid funded Sakchyam Access to Finance Program implemented by WSP USA Solutions Inc (WSP), oversaw one of the most successful and innovative enterprise-driven programs in Nepal. -Supported by a combination of demand-driven Technical Assistance and Challenge Fund co-investment of USD 21 million -- spread over 80 partnerships with various actors in the financial ecosystem – his efforts have been instrumental in bringing and scaling several constraint-removing private sector-led innovations that are imperative for financial access and inclusion and rural-based MSME growth, including: -expansion of MSME financing through establishment of dedicated units in Partner Financial Institutions -design and implementation of partial credit guarantee schemes -expansion of agent network, QR payment and other instant payment solutions to facilitate digital financial services -installation of Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system at the central bank -implementation of a reverse factoring (supply chain financing) -automation of frontend services of Microfinance Financial Institutions -design and rollout of value chain financing products and renewable energy financing products including processes improvements -design and rollout of Nepal’s first-ever index based insurance products
