Working on cisco ASR9001 platform as a part of System Infra Team.Have experience on providing various improvements on nV (Network Virtualisation ) cluster, programming new Dual In-line Memory Module (DIMMS) and Improving I2C backplane resiliency on ASR9001 platform.Earlier worked on Cisco 7600 platform and was responsible for Developing the Stateful Multirouter APS (Automatic Protect Switching) feature.Switchover-over time for MLP in a Multi Router APS setup is in the order of the (5-10) seconds. Through this feature, it will cut that switchover time down to sub-second range(500ms - 800 ms). This will cause a reduction in the traffic loss significantlyI was the SPOC for the distributed features support and development on SIP400/SIP200 and eFlexwan linecards.Distributed features include Distributed Multilink Point to Point Protocol (MLPPP), Distributed Multilink Frame Relay (MFR), Distributed Link fragmentation and Interleaving (LFI).

Developing RCI (remote codec interface similar to OpenMax) Multimedia Framework developed on OMAP2430 and OMAP1710 Platforms. Remote Codec Interface provides an interface between the application running on general-purpose processor (ARM11/ARM9) and the video and image codecs running on remote processor (DSP – Multitasking Processor, c55x/c64x). It hides underlying processor, the embedded operating system used and communication medium details from application. Implemented RCI components in C on LINUX and DSP-BIOS (Provided by TI).Later was responsible for developing Codec Task Node (CTN) protocol for Codec running on a Single Core Platform to communicatewith OpenMax (OMX) component.
