Title: Altered Emotional experiences in Depersonalisation (DP)I worked on evaluating the altered emotional experience of people with Depersonalisation episodes by conducting online psychophysics experiments using Psychopy/js. We assessed the DP scores by Cambridge Depersonalisation Scale(CDS) both Trait and state version. I used ordinal package in R for data analysis. We found that intensity of emotion experiences varied across different emotional categories. But it does correlate with numbing sub-scale of CDS(Trait).

Project on Altered visual perception in DerealisationSupervisor: Prof. Naotsugu TsuchiyaWe altered the image properties of pictures like saturation, contrast and blurriness, to mimic the way people with derealisation experiences their surrounding, hazy, dreamlike, faded, dull. We conducted online Psychophysics experiments using PsychoPy and checked if people with higher DR tendencies do rate the low saturated, contrast and more blurry images as less real.
