14 Month Contract Role (Maternity cover)

Responsibilities- Member of the senior management team reporting into CFO- Corporate financial management, all external and internal reporting, tax, compliance, treasury & risk.- Management of the corporate division, accounts payable, and accounts receivable teams- Provide support for mergers and acquisition and their subsequent integration- Preparation of finance, tax, legal due diligence reports, financial modelling, data-room preparation, Q&A process for refinancing, and private equity exit.Achievements- Successful refinance in the challenging COVID period when business profits were significantly impacted and navigating the business through the impacts of COVID- Implementation of IFRS 16 standard, Payment Times Reporting, Basware Saas platform, and Concur- Management of ATO’s “Top 1000 combined assurance review” covering income tax and GST- Managed, developed and mentored the team to achieve individual growth and meet company targets

Responsibilities- Management of general ledger and month-end reconciliation- Assistance in the preparation of financial statements, income tax returns & preparation of GST returns - Performed internal controls testing on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other internal processesAchievements- Conducted a detailed review of all transactions to reconcile the GST to the management accounts and ensured correct GST treatment for all transactions.- Significantly reduced the large Fixed Asset balance that was sitting in “Work-in-progress” accounts - Led and managed a project which significantly reduced the time consumed to complete month-end processes and reporting.
