I currently work at Panasonic Avionics Corporation as a back-end Software Developer.I contribute to the development of various APIs. Before my masters, I worked as a Software Engineer in Photon Interactive Pvt. Ltd. - 6 months as an intern and another year as a full-time employee after conversion. I was given challenging tasks and worked on numerous technologies.As a summer intern at McGraw-Hill Education, I helped develop their online Assessment platform. I developed a new question type for creating a Number line, customised by the teacher for each quiz. It evaluated the student's answers upon comparison with that of the correct solution marked by the teacher. Along with a team of 7, I built a location-aware hybrid application for a client as a part of my Software Engineering course. I went through the entire life-cycle of the project, first as the requirements engineer of my team followed by the developer. I also was the grader of the Software Engineering course in the following semester.With my strong background in Software Engineering, I have experience working with the Incremental Commitment Spiral model life-cycle, agile development cycle as well as other Software Engineering practices like pair programming etc.I also developed a Web and Android application to help users search E-Bay listings. The app talks to an AWS hosted backend that communicates with E-Bay using the E-bay API. The android app used the Facebook SDK to post the results on Facebook.During my undergrad, I led a team of 3 while we developed a unique authentication system that used brain signals as a basis for the authentication, and a neural network that performed the task.
