Matching invoices with purchase orders and process these invoices for payment via the Great Plains software. Reconcile each creditor and make sure all outstanding queries are resolved before the next month end. Ensuring all invoices are captured and ready to be paid via CATS (Standard Bank) on the due dates e.g. 7th or end of each month. Ensure all accruals are done before the month end. Ensure that banking documents are prepared accurately & timeously. Assisting in cash flow forecast schedules on a weekly basis. Ensure all fixed asset additions are submitted for entry to the fixed assets register. Verification of Fixed Assets. Ensure that petty cash schedules are updated, petty cash advices are completed, issue petty cash top ups, count petty cash and capture to the correct expense account. Issuing and capturing of debtor and inter-company invoices. Balancing of cash book on a weekly basis. Reconcile balance sheet recons (Sundry Debtors Sundry Accrual & Fixed Assets). Balance promotions inventory by the 25th of each month. Assist the FM with budgets and forecasts. Monitor company cell phones and petrol cards and ensure all deductions are handed to HR. Handle all insurance queries with regards to company cars and company property
