Current• IGBT Based Auxiliary converters Troubleshooting, Testing & Maintenance in WAP 7& WAG 9 Locomotives in Bondamunda and Rourkela Electric Locomotive Shed.• Troubleshooting of complex problems and consultation with Engineering and R&D team to find out how to minimize the problem in field.• Preparing test protocol, calibration documents, validation protocol and conceptualizing test kits for testing of various parts of the Power Converter Functionality.• Commissioning of the Prototype Unit of 2X130 kVA Converter used in conventional Locomotive. Involved in the total field test and trail of the proto unit in Howrah shed .• Working closely with the Engineering Team, for resolving the problems and stabilizing the product.• Provide customer technical support and Interact with customers for technical issues and attend meetings with shed on reliability aspects & open issues of Auxiliary converters, FDU, Transformer and panels.• Collecting relevant field data about product under development in order to ensure design test coverage according to actual operating conditions• FDU, FB and HB panel.• Carrying out detailed investigation of critical failures.
