Singafit is a sports summer camp for children aged 3-16 and caters to a variety of sports such as rugby, tchoukball, football etc... I volunteered as a coach for the children. It was a very wholesome experience as it gave me the exposure to being a formal sports coach for a variety of different sports. It was definitely something outside of my comfort zone and I think I developed a lot of skills, especially teamwork and interpersonal skills. It has made me build and reflect on my IB learner profile and build the skills that the IB instills in their students. This experience also taught me how to be more patient as dealing with younger children means many contrasting personalities. It also gave me a sense of ownership and responsibility since all the responsibilities were on me. Hence, I have gained a range of important skills and values that I can incorporate into my daily life.
