BPAID was a migration project with an objective to route card transactions via Bankworks. The previous system used to receive transactions from different merchants, validate those files and send them to Schemes (VISA, Mastercard). BPAID follows the same process but routes the Transactions via Bankworks. Files coming from different merchants had to be reformatted in one standard format and then forwarded to a single destination. Multiple warehouses were set according to the type of transaction and type of merchants.ResponsibilitiesTesting – Creating files according to requirements and executing it and capturing the results along with job logs, unit testing, Component integration testing, regression testingDevelopment- Writing JCL and COBOL code for incorporating small changes. Worked on tools like Expeditor to debug the program and for testing purpose to check file operations. Used file-aid to undergo regression testing.Documenting project activities for internal knowledge base
