This included Anti-Money Laundering laws, SWIFT Database Management and all communications with representatives of the international financial institutions (IFIs) and the European banks in the Republic of Uzbekistan.• Due to over exceeding expectations and performance measures, I was quickly promoted to the role of Compliance Manager within 12 months at UZB, with 2 direct reports. • Completion and monitoring of establishment/closure the formal correspondent relations with foreign banks (SWIFT RMA exchange), duly updating of the correspondent database.• Improved processes and structure around account opening and closure procedures including collecting documentation requested by foreign banks, completing of any account(s) conclusion and protocols submitted to the ALCO Committee department) which streamlined operations with enhanced accuracy. • Responsible for monitoring of cooperation with German-speaking countries including • relations support with representatives of the German banks in the Republic of Uzbekistan including providing requested financial statements, Annual reports of NBU, and other information.
