Project: Traceability /pedigree viewImplemented a graphical representation of data to enable trace forward to see how data is used/transformed and a trace backward to see where it is derived from and how it is created. • Used Dojo toolkits graphic pack for this dojo gfx. • A trace table was used to map the relationship between entities. • Client side algorithms were written for the prediction of the location of the next graphical blockProject: DatatypesSummary: Represented VDSS specific datatypes in the form of objects. When basic information is fed to one object there are a number of functions specific for that object that are used to fetch more data in the form of objects. This can be used to drill down and get pure data sans widgets and a graphical interface. • Python client ZSI and soap.js were used to connect to web service.• Implemented a jython layer that ran on the server.• Defined the WSDL interface, and generated Java objects.• Applied singleton and Factory Design Pattern.Project: Iteration ComparisonSummary: Iteration is an entity, which is submitted to the solver. This contains the input, the solver output and the key results. This comparison was done at the metadata and file level. If the key results of the iterations contained curves, animations or pictures were visualized. • Developed Client side GUI for ITM comparison (input) and comparison result (output) using DojoToolkit.• Wrote Algorithms in java for comparing results.

Project: Thin Client for VDSSSummary: VisualDSS is an open multi-domain environment compatible with a customer’s present and future best practices. The environment enables companies to build and manage simulation models for multi domain usage, to automate processes & workflow, to manage simulation content & data and to provide knowledge based decision support and automated reporting.• Extensive work was done with dojo toolkit to form the initial pages. This involved client side development involving jsp, js, html and css. • Used Struts as the front end framework. • Implemented the MVC design pattern. • Developed Applets to view graphic files.• Data exchange between client and server was performed using JSON format.• Improved software quality by focusing on jUnit tests. • Generated Class and Sequence diagrams as a part of the design document.• Undertook and coordinated training & knowledge transfer.• Implemented reporting features using cewolf, jFreeChart, Apache POI, iText and json. The files are read and visualized in html, pdf and ppt format.
