Throughout my tenure, my responsibility has been to manage testing for project from requirement gathering, Test plan/Strategy creation, test case design review, setting-up of testing framework, development and debugging of automation scripts, sign-offs to release management. While working as Senior Test Engineer, my accountabilities were to form and lead the Testing Team, monitor end-to-end test activities/deliverables produced by them, and ensure on-time delivery.Besides, I derived the testing requirements for transactions based on 12 requirement specification documents and Performed end to end UAT Testing on Micro-dynamics ERP Too. Singlehandedly automated client’s different web applications using Selenium.Reviewed test design documents prepared by the team (8+ resources) to ensure coverage of the functionality. Identified test scenario, derived end-to-end traceability matrix (400+ requirements), and performed web application testing. Ensured there is no defect leakage from the test design and MIS reporting to senior management.Over my tenure, I managed defect lifecycle (315+ defects) from opening to closure; reported defects through TFS (Team Foundation Server). Resolved production issues after product launch and handled an average of 25-30 issues per month. Tested critical problem tickets against the production issues (10+ issues for each release).

As Capgemini, I played a pivotal role in designing scripts for end-end functionalities and product enhancements testing in Insurance Web-based Application. Automated client’s different web applications and regression cases using Selenium on multiple browsers.Furthermore, I prepared 700+ test cases for new user stories and merged them in the regression pack, configuring test data. Took complete ownership of individual release-based projects & SPOC for other project teams.I was applauded for being a part of the team (4 resources) to derive testing strategy from project initiation phase to till test case execution.Owned complete responsibility for the defect lifecycle. As a Trainer, I onboarded Trainee Test Engineers for Insurance Domain and trained 8 resources.

Post completion of my Bachelor of Engineering (Information Technology), I commenced my career as Test Engineer responsible for providing application support to UAT field validation testing (400+ test cases) for new business and underwriting use cases.Further to this, I reviewed the test strategy & to design documents prepared to ensure the coverage of the overall business functionality. Attended the design and requirements walkthroughs, socialization calls, release retrospective meetings, component test strategy meetings, and cross-functional team meetings; prepared test repositories.
