Handling 3 Major Projects in Kumasi, EPC of Kumasi Internatiional Airport Phase II & III, (project value 120 Million Euros)Kumasi Central Market Phase II (project value 240 million Euros)Kumasi Inner Roads.Managing overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the facility.Implement procurement strategies to maintain security of supply and optimum value for money.Perform all procurement activities including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation and preparation of purchase orders.Set policy and guidelines for delivering commercial and cost effective procuring process for the business.Develop key relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business.Implement change and develop new processes to better procure goods and services.Negotiate contracts with suppliers to obtain best price and service.Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals.Analyze market and delivery trends so as to develop procurement technologies and processes that support those trends.Identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results.Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities.Review current processes for procurement and make recommendations where appropriate.

Responsible for Procurement of materials required for the project (REDEVELOPMENT OF KUMASI CENTRAL MARKET) in Ghana / West Africa in Kumasi Province.Project Value 300 Millions U.S. Dollars.

Responsible for Procurement of materials required for 3 major projects in Doha Qatar, includes Qatar Petroleum.Lead development of procurement strategy, supplier identification.Lead regular vendor performance reviews, which include formal feedback and participation from the sourcing team.Maximize value creation (savings, cost avoidance, efficiency and material management improvements) through Strategic Sourcing, Contracting and Negotiation initiatives.Continually improve Category Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Contracting, Negotiation and Supplier Management processes, tools and capabilities, by benchmarking and driving use of Best Practices / lessons learned.Lead development of fit-for-purpose Strategic Sourcing and Contracting processes and tools for Logistics services.Support development and execution of Category Plans and management of Advanced Supplier Relationships with and Compliance by key suppliers.RFI/RFP/RFQ analysisProposal equalization.• Purchasing material for inventory and non-stock items for branches and customer orders. • Reviewing Purchase orders and faxing and/or EDI over to vendors • Monitoring to make sure fax and/or EDI's went through and confirm expected ship dates and updating system. • Communicate with Projects Department / Technical Department for technical clarifications and approval.• Resolving errors on purchase orders as required. • Investigating and determining what/how/ why material came in incorrectly or damaged (for non conformance). Synchronize the best quote from different Suppliers while minding the quality, price and delivery time.• Reviewing open Purchase Orders not printed. • Filing Purchase Orders. • Assisting with cycle counts. • Reviewing reports for stock outs and expediting open orders. • Monitoring price increases and communicating changes as necessary. • Assisting with stock rotations as needed. • Reviewing line points/ order points for inventory stock levels. • Other duties as assigned.
