Current• Responsible for leading the Baby Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT) project that offers early intervention at rehabilitation centers across Ontario to infants with or at risk of hemiplegic CP.- Create proposals, budgets and data collection outcomes.- Facilitate training sessions to nurses and physicians. - Led monthly community of practice meetings with physicians, occupational therapists and research faculty. • Recruit participants, obtain informed consent, screen and… Show more • Responsible for leading the Baby Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT) project that offers early intervention at rehabilitation centers across Ontario to infants with or at risk of hemiplegic CP.- Create proposals, budgets and data collection outcomes.- Facilitate training sessions to nurses and physicians. - Led monthly community of practice meetings with physicians, occupational therapists and research faculty. • Recruit participants, obtain informed consent, screen and assess participant eligibility for an investigator-initiated, multi-site, Health Canada regulated clinical trial.• Prepare clinical trial applications/amendments for submission to the REB and Health Canada.• Development of study specific source documentation such as case report forms and maintain study logs and records of study related visits.• Conduct assessments (questionnaires and tests) and review medical charts as required by study protocol. • Facilitate site initiation and monitoring visits from Applied Health Research Centre.• Score and enter study data into REDCap including data checks and data verification.• Advanced knowledge using reference manager programs (EndNote), and intermediate knowledge of statistical analysis software (SPSS).• Monitor and report adverse events and protocol deviations to principal investigator.• Prepare reports, presentations as well as manuscripts for publication.• Ensure research is conducted in compliance with the Bloorview Research Ethics Board (REB), Tri-Council Policy Statement (TCPS-2), and ICH-GCP principles.
