Senior Research Engineer
CurrentI am on the Science & Technology team. We manage a growing research portfolio to uncover the mechanisms of action of our clinical stage chronic pain therapy. We also lead electrode development and safety testing to inject the large amounts of charge required for ULF therapy.- Designed and initiated 2 study protocols for a preclinical rodent and sheep study at CRO facilities.- Designed and managed 4 preclinical studies with academic collaborators.- Designed electrochemical materials safety characterization tests for high charge capacity neurostimulation electrodes.- Developed novel bench model to study electrode stimulation related phenomena.- Investigated and root caused electrode stimulation related electrochemistry phenomena.- Analyzed clinical and preclinical data using Python tools and statistics.- Designed clinical study to investigate mechanisms of action of ULF therapy.- Mentored 1 summer intern.- Developed pipeline applications for platform neural inhibition technology. Filed 15 invention disclosures.- Worked with clinical team to define patient programming algorithms.- Delivered podium presentation at International Neuromodulation Society 2024 - Led SBIR NIH submission
