Structural design, Design for reliability and FEA simulation of automotive and medical Electronic equipment.

1) Experience in running FEA simulations on electronic systems comprising of PCBs, enclosures, racks, cold plates, connectors, etc., using ANSYS Mechanical.2) Performed linear static and dynamic structural analyses of electronics systems and mechanical structures used in Radar and other defence equipment using loading specification inputs from customers.3) Conducted simulation trainings and workshops on ANSYS Mechanical, ANSYS Workbench and ANSYS Sherlock tools to customers, and also provided technical support to resolve all customer queries or issues.4) Conducted tool demonstrations and case studies on electronic systems (avionics) involving PCBs and enclosures provided by the customer for reliability assessment using ANSYS Sherlock tool.5) Generated case studies related to customer applications for customer’s perusal and validation of the FEA tools, such as:- Rotor-dynamic analysis of twin spool or dual rotor system to identify critical speeds of the rotor system.- Fatigue analysis of Autofrettaged (Overstrained) thick cylinder tube subjected to internal pressure cyclic loading.- Thermal analysis of an Aircraft brake systems subjected to brake frictional heating during landing.

1) Involved in the simulation, analysis and optimization of part designs and process conditions for injection-moulding plastic tanks and other accessories for Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) applications in automobiles.2) Optimized the plastic structural design, injection-moulding process parameter settings and machine process cycle time using statistical techniques such as Design of experiments and computer simulations.
