* To ensure rosters are effective and meet needs of floral department. * To ensure that all the formats of ordering, billing and communication are carried out according to the system set by the hotel. * To conduct inspections of all flower points on a daily basis. * To prepare proposals for new projects i.e. outdoor catering, themed parties, festive seasons, VIP weddings and guests requirements. * To create concept and design as required. * To source materials or props related to floral arrangements * To train the colleagues on latest design skills and horticulture information. * To deal with supplier for samples and best price for the items needed for projects. * To set standard design of floral arrangement for banqueting and room division. * To ensure the indoor landscaping and potted plants are according to the standard and interior of the hotel including costing and maintenance. * To return rejected flowers or plants to the wholesaler and maintain an accurate record. * To ensure all internal flower orders are fulfilled and recorded. * To create new ideas in flower arranging in order to continue improving standards at all times.

* To maintain high standard floral arrangements. * Preparing month end flower JV. * Controlling and monthly budget.* Ordering flowers on a daily basis according to the operation. * To assign responsibilities to subordinates and check their performance. * To liaise with the purchasing department and place the flower orders. * To check the quality of flowers at receiving. * To make flower arrangement according to the specification, i.e. public areas, guest suites, restaurants and function rooms. * To ensure that the flower arrangements are replenished when needed. * To ensure all internal flower orders are fulfilled and recorded. * To create new ideas in flower arranging in order to continue improving standards at all times.

* To liaise with the purchasing department and place the flower orders. * To carefully check all flowers received and mark on delivery orders. * To check the quality of the flowers at receiving. * To return the rejected flowers to the supplier. * To ensure flower arrangements are checked and watered regularly. * To ensure that the flower arrangements are replenished when needed. * To ensure all internal flower orders are fulfilled and recorded. * To report to Housekeeping any damages or missing items in the flower shop. * To have a complete understanding of and adheres to the hotel’s policy relating to hygien, health and safety.
