Ever since I can remember I've always been an inquisitive person, who wanted to know everything & a strong believer of the fact that one lifetime is not enough for a human being to explore it all. This curiosity has led me to ask the most obvious to most uncommon questions throughout my professional life which made me an out of the box thinker. I've used this skill to provide innovative solutions wherever I got chance, during my internship at Safexpress, in order to mitigate risks across supply chain I provided solutions ranging from creating an action plan for fastracking claim settlement procedure to creating mindfulness in lobours. At one instance I received a job offer from a consignee whose claim I was settling which goes into showing my effective communication. I can proudly say that some of the solutions I provided were implemented by the company. I’ve also utilized this innovative & resourceful mind-set in conducting a primary research & assisting in the development of a business plan for the upliftment of living conditions of artisans, weavers & designers engaged in Chanderi silk saree business while working for N.S.D.C.I see myself as a very hard working person with strong determination. Since, I had started taking decisions for my self and setting up personal goals I've always excelled at them- be it securing second position in B.B.A, outshining everyone by grabbing gold medal at national level in Karate-do championship or attaining top position at zonal youth festival in western instrumental as a guitarist. Why a Supply Chain Manager? As I see huge scope in it because in India, the logistics cost as a percentage of its GDP stands at 14%. This cost is quite high as compared to the US (9.5%), Germany (8%) and Japan (11%). Moreover, at present unorganized companies dominate the industry, accounting for approximately 85 percent of the total logistics market in India, as the Indian logistics industry shifts from unorganized to organized, the need for supply chain performance improvement and logistics companies that serve as supply chain partners would also increase.   Organized logistics sector could be a $50 billion opportunity in India by 2025 helped by formalization of the sector & my P.G.D.M in supply chain management along with strong communication skills & understanding of business analytic tools makes me a suitable candidate for this role.
