My first interaction with Websites and Internet started when I was 15 years old.My final year school exam results were out. Having an internet connection at home was pretty uncommon in those days. The Cyber Cafes were a big savior. So, I had to run to a nearby cafe to check my results online.The webpage would open up after entering the website name in the browser and then it would ask for your seat number.After inserting it, the website would start doing some TechMagic (That's what I use to call it :D) in the background, making me anxious during the whole process and then finally displaying the results on the computer screen. It was so cool! I was fascinated by it. I wanted to learn this TechMagic. I wanted to build such cool websites.Since then, the curiosity inside me started to grow to understand how websites work, how they are built, how they connect people, how they generate revenues for businesses and more importantly how they add value to our daily lives.With these aspirations in mind, I pursued further education in the Computer Science Engineering course to study in-depth about Web Technologies/Tools such as HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, and WordPress.While studying, to put my knowledge into practice, I also started a side hustle. It was a Gaming Community website built using WordPress (The CMS software that now powers 35% of the Internet) and BuddyPress Plugin. This project helped me a lot in sharpening my Designing, Programming and Marketing skills.With the passion for building successful websites, came another passion for promoting them through Digital Marketing. Over the period, I came to know that building a website for your business is just not enough, you also need to promote it to bring in regular traffic and leads. The success formula is Leads = Sales = RevenueThis was a short story about my journey into Web Design and Digital Marketing.Today, I am the founder of Theemwiz, A Productive Web Design, Digital Marketing and Consulting Agency.
