At GTS, I reinvented and reinvigorated the Global Innovator Competition (GIC) while also driving relationships with key venture funds, Big Tech, incubators/accelerators, global startup clusters, thought-leaders and technologists to create a vibrant GTS conference and ecosystem. The Global Technology Symposium was founded by Silicon Valley's venture capital veteran Alexandra "Sasha" Johnson (Managing Director, DFJ VTB Aurora Fund). GTS brings together most powerful business and financial leaders, senior government officials and cutting-edge innovators to the Valley to solve for today's global challenges. Attendees from previous events include Tim Draper, Guy Kawasaki, Carly Fiorina, T. Boone Pickens, Sheryl Sandberg, and Senator Gary Hart, to name a few.

At Opower, I opened new markets and sourced new customers (Taiwan, Korea, India). I sourced $10 million dollars of prospective sales and $1 million dollars of government/regulatory funding within 18 months - by working closely with Sales and Product teams to ensure product/market fit. Opower helped utilities to better engage and understand their end retail consumers. The industry leader in utilizing behavioral science and big data analytics, Opower facilitated better customer relationships and drove energy efficiency across stakeholders. To-date, Opower has enabled consumers to save over $1 billion in electricity bills.

At Vestas, I led regulatory development for South-East & South Asia, while acquiring new customers in new and existing Sales' markets. I expedited $600 million of sales deals via regulatory intervention and sourced $200 million dollars' worth of sales deals in 14 months, which I was in charge of moving down the sales pipeline thereafter. Vestas is the largest clean energy company dedicated exclusively to wind energy - from development and manufacturing to the sale and maintenance of wind power plants. With over 110 years' of experience and 77GW of installed wind power plants to-date, Vestas continues to be the industry leader, thought-maker and innovator for a carbon-free future.

Within Vestas' Regulatory Affairs team, I drove government/regulatory solutions for existing and new markets, as well as solutions around government and regulatory problems for the region. In markets where regulatory systems were non-existent or incomplete, my value was reducing time to market for the Sales team while driving adoption of renewable energy policies/targets that made sense.

Cardinal Partners Asia LLP was a boutique consulting firm focused on developing solutions for the aviation sector. The firm specialized in helping its clients develop Greenfield bio-diesel power plants in order to produce and sell jetfuel to the aviation industry. At Cardinal, I led their business development department, securing $100,000 of new clients within 8 months. I hired and managed a team of experts to drive this acquisition, whom I managed across the region (remote).

The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development is a permanent intergovernmental body tasked by the UN General Assembly to support developing countries' access to benefits of a globalized economy. I worked in UNCTAD's Investment Facilitation Section to provide in-house investment advisory services on FDI promotion, capture, facilitation and retention to Caribbean, African and South-East Asian nations (developing and least developed nations). I provided critical advice on Energy, ICT and Tourism sectors - for in-country workshops as well as UNCTAD's flagship Investment Advisory Series.
