“Ability may get you to the top, but it takes character to keep you there.” - John WoodenMy professional career has spanned three broad chapters, with the latest in the legal services industry with Lexitas as our Chief Operating Office & President where I oversee Sales, Marketing and the Operating Divisions. Previously, over the prior decade, I built, led and scaled commercial and product teams focused on creating alternative revenue streams in insights, advertising, analytics, ecommerce and consulting from scarce information assets. As President of Global Products and Solutions at IRI, I led an integrated global team that has responsibility for all of IRI's products and commercial responsibility for many of IRI's solutions, including Media, E-commerce, Analytics, Growth Consulting and Software. Before joining IRI, I led the customer communications team at 84.51º, where I helped leading grocery retailer The Kroger Co. and its CPG brand partners create relevant and personalized communications to strengthen customer loyalty. I led the digital transformation of this primarily direct-mail business that resulted in the incubation of Kroger Precision Marketing, Kroger's retail media business.Prior to that, I spent 15 years with MicroStrategy, the leading publicly traded independent provider of Business Intelligence SaaS software, helping companies of all types leverage data and insights to make better decisions. As Vice President of Social Intelligence, I drove the Company's initial foray into social analytics to help brands better understand consumer behavior on social networks, particularly Facebook. During my tenure, I also built MicroStrategy's OEM partner program, securing more than 100 partnerships with large and small data software companies from Oracle to SirsiDynix, enabling MicroStrategy to expand into the SMB client segment.Before all of that, I graduated from Harvard University with a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics and a master's degree in computer science.Most importantly, I am married, have three kids and am a huge Los Angeles Lakers fan, having grown up in Los Angeles during the Showtime Lakers era.
