Sample of key activities managed by me/achievements:• Developed a complete Draft bill for the Maharashtra State Government and to the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR)- on Child Sexual Abuse (CSA). • Continuous advocacy with Telecom sector - CHILDLINE 1098 is now Cat I number with unrestricted access.• Developed new model for CHILDLINE Service for the12th Plan.• Evaluating call centre models, recommending appropriate models to the GB, Managing the CHILDLINE Contact Centre (CCC)- a centralized call center for inbound calls ( 1098) and outbound calls to CHILDLINE Partners- built the case for and managing migration of CHILDLINE’s existing distributed model to CCC. Migrated the CCC from single location Avaya linked model to multi location model covering entire country, with Remote hosted servers, DR servers, MPLS Cloud connectivity and capability of servicing 17 million calls/yr with full multi media capability. The new model is on TCS Genesys platform with Smartconnect and Talisma CRM. Floated teenders, and finalised technology partnerships with TCS. CCC today employs 200 staff and services 25000 calls/day.• Developed a comprehensive MIS for Services team (online application via password access) and currently in rolling out phase.• Developing and managing the complete communication program for CIF covering localized media, IEC, mass media, selective media and web.• Key member in nationwide social research on status of Child Protection mechanisms in India.
