The TECH event aims to bring together educators and researchers, neuroscientists, curriculum designers, edtech specialists, social entrepreneurs, government representatives and ministers of education from several countries. The Project Coordination Officer to function under the overall guidance and supervision of the Senior Project Officer. In carrying out the responsibilities, worked in collaboration with heads of units and project partners as needed within the framework of Institute’s Mid-term strategy, Biennial programme and budget consistent within overall UNESCO framework for action.II. Duties and Responsibilities I. The lead on developing the content for the International Conference on ICT in• Education including:• Designing the schedule, identifying speakers, creating and disseminating the call for papers, and managing the peer review and selection process.II. Building the content for the conference, including workshops and academic panel sessions in consultation with the advisory board and relevant expert networks • Creating and managing the timeline, budget, resource allocations, and other project management reports associated with the project.• Building partnerships with relevant public and private sector institutions.III. Forming an international board for the conference • Coordinating the activities of the staff committee and international advisory boards assigned to facilitate the conference.• Liaising with the communication team to create a communications plan for before, during, and after the conference.• Preparing groundwork for MoUs that can be signed between MGIEP and partners for the conference• Facilitate the conference website and app design Show less
