Coming from a degree in Human Sciences (covering modules in Anthropology and Psychology amongst others), User Research feeds my passion for exploring human behaviour and computer interaction. Through agile practices, it's my mission to ensure products and services are user-centred and accessible for all. Projects to date:- Department for Transport: "Blue Badge" team (Beta). Working on "Apply for, or renew a Blue Badge application" (Citizens) and "Manage Blue Badge applications" (Local Authorities) services on GOV.UK- Sage: user researcher for global project- Ofgem: Data Services Infrastructure Redesign (Discovery, Alpha and Beta) - Civil Service Human Resourcing: "Fast Stream and Early Talent" team (Beta). Working on the "Apply for the Civil Service Fast Stream" and "Apply for a Civil Service apprenticeship" services on GOV.UKResearch methods include:- Qualitative: Lab-based/remote/in-situ usability and accessibility testing, contextual enquiry, one to one interviews - Quantitative: Card sorting, customer feedback analysis, surveys and A/B testing. Using various tools such as UserZoom, Optimizely and Survey Monkey

Dual role as: - Project Management Officer: working commercially alongside Delivery Directors, Project Managers, Finance, Sales and Resourcing teams to ensure successful project delivery.- Marketing Executive: promoting brand awareness through event sponsorships and blogging (eg. Wired Magazine and ServLab meetups). Helping with and running Valtech PR and social media campaigns such as the myNHS data project 2016 and The Future of Retail event 2016.

Supporting a team of 30 within a high profile regulatory project.

Providing support to the Interest Rate Hedging Products Complaints Management Team of 20 directors and lawyers with multiple work streams.

Assisting the UK and Ireland Sales and Marketing Department of 30.- Event Support for: MOBO Awards 2012, Sensation XL Launch, HTC One series launch at Mobile World Congress Barcelona, Windows Phone 8X launch, HTC One launch (UK)- Phones 4U and EE Staff Incentive Manager- Simply Measured Social Media Analyst- Agency liaison with M2M Media, Nelson Bostock (PR) and SSG (Events)- Media Planner and Manager of Zeebox (Media Application)

Supporting the Commercialisation Product Management team in all aspects of delivering devices to operators during the stages of production.- Stock (mobile phones and accessories) and Systems Management for EMEA region working alongside a team of Commercialisation Product Managers and Engineers- Logistics Administration- Deployment of firmware to smart phones during production stages

During the month of August I volunteered at Turning Point. They provide services for people with complex needs including drug and alcohol misuse and mental health problems. Working with disadvantaged people was an important learning experience.
