RPA. Robotic Process Automation. A new project for Renault, I was one of the first to join the team that pioneers the automation of both the repetitive and boring tasks and the complex and demanding ones, thus reducing the chance of errors, increasing reliability and deliverabilty and allowing the people to focus on people tasks, tasks that use their abilities to the maximum.Without having anyone else with relevant experience to provide assistance, our team had to educate itself regarding the principles of RPA in order to first prove what the technology is capable of, and then prove that we are more than capable of handling any tasks.And so, the journey continues.

The first challenge that I took upon after graduation, the oportunity to be a part of the PG team helped me discover and understand the corporate environment.As part of the Global Reporting team, I worked with internal clients across the globe, discovered the main principles of how a Purchasing department works.The main activity was delivering various KPIs for which a predetermined procedure existed, and also handling ad-hoc requests and creating new reports (new procedures).Most of the time the tools used were SAP as data source and Ms. Excel for data manipulation, but I also interacted a little with VBA while creating some small automations via macros, Ms. Access and other internal sollutions.
