My role involves a deep understanding of GPU architecture, provisioning, testing, and installing the necessary tools to ensure seamless hardware availability at the software level for end-users.Key Responsibilities: - Architecture Understanding: Knowledge of GPU architecture to ensure optimal provisioning and performance. - Provisioning and Tooling: Setting up and testing GPUs, installing the correct tools, and making GPUs accessible at the software level. - Customer Support: Addressing and resolving customer issues related to GPU usage and performance. - Lifecycle Management: Along with the team managing the complete lifecycle of a GPU, from its setup in the data center to its availability on the user interface. - Hosting and Provisioning: Along with the team ensuring GPUs are hosted and provisioned with the necessary computing, storage, and network resources. - Data Center Operations: Testing GPUs at the data center level and ensuring their proper bring-up. - Kubernetes Controllers: Utilizing Kubernetes controllers for efficient GPU provisioning. - Team Collaboration: Collaborating effectively with team members to deliver high-quality solutions.Previous Experience:ITS - Image Services :Before focusing on GPU technology, I specialized in provisioning and developing various operating systems (Redhat, CentOS, Debian etc) for virtual server instances on x86 and Power systems on a global scale. I successfully automated the complete lifecycle of OS releases for my company, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
