I work with leading companies in the Automotive and Industrial sectors across segments, including Auto OEMs (two-wheelers, commercial vehicles, passenger cars, tractors, and construction equipment), Auto Tier-1 Suppliers and Industrial Machinery companies (industrial motors, railway components, capital equipment OEMs).I have structured and executed holistic performance transformations for clients in these sectors, cutting across areas of revenue growth, margin transformation, targeted infusion of Digital / Advanced Analytics use-cases and building new capabilities. These multi-year transformations have yielded in significant and sustained jump in market cap (5-20x) over a 3-4 year horizon for the client organisations. Some of my recent work includes a multi-year transformation for a tyre manufacturer leading to 10x growth in market cap and a multi-year margin transformation at a PE-owned Tier-1 supplier.I also have significant experience in building new businesses for clients to unlock adjacent revenue streams, starting right from concept development to developing a blueprint and launching the new business. Some of my recent work includes helping an incumbent OEM launch its EV business, helping a Commercial Vehicles OEM build an after-market service platform and helping a leading car OEM build an integrated customer app as an independent profit centre.Within McKinsey, I have been leading the Automotive practice for more than 4 years and have grown the practice significantly. I regularly speak on strategic imperatives for the Indian Automotive sector and have been leading McKinsey's partnership with industry think-tanks like SIAM.
