Custody Middle Office Operation - US Domestic Trade Processing

Asset Management Operation - ManagerTrade Confirmation:• Continuously monitor exception queues within system for any Nak’d trades.• Monitor matching platforms for Security and FX trades and work with brokers to get all trades match on matching platform.• Work with trader if there is any discrepancy in trade and follow up till trade issue get resolved.• Produce reports/Trade Recaps for Interested parties, Clients and Portfolio Manager.• Investigate reconciliation breaks assign to confirmation team.• Ensure all trades are accepted by broker and push downstream for communication.• Coordinate with Data Management team for security set up.• Handle EOD activities, like Trade recaps, Unconfirmed/All trade reports to on-shore/off-shore Management.• Arrange calls/meetings between on-shore and off-shore management to discuss daily BAU issues.Trade Communication : • Continuously monitor the mails from Internal and External Parties and to ensure all mails are replied to.• Continuously monitor the various trade communication related system applications • Providing a platform and working between broker and custody, setting up their standard settlement Instruction and ensure it is communicated on time.• Client events done on request from Client Support.• Ensure Settlement Instructions are updated in Alert.• Correspond with brokers and custodians to keep the settlement instructions updatedTrade Settlements :• Monitor custody and broker Fails report on a daily basis; take corrective action on unmatched & failing trades.• Identify & prioritize the settlement activity in line with the time zones.• Resolving trade breaks and overdrafts.• Liaising with the broker and the custodians to ensure that all the trades settle on intended settlement date.• Identifying the root causes of inefficiencies in the settlement process & working with others in the team to address these.

Custody Operation - Risk Management Team• Playing a role of operational Risk Analyst.• Doing a process review & audits in order to clog the gap’s in the process.• Handling claims & errors and taking appropriate action to minimize any sort of exposure to the organization.• Preparing monthly and quarterly performance report & presenting to higher management.• Initiating & handling process improvement and Lean Sigma projects.• Weekly reporting of risks to the Risk manager.

Team Leader - transaction Processing• Timely and accurate processing for all STP and non-STP transactions (equity, debt, cash and Spot/Forward FX products) relating to designated client portfolio.• Ensuring timely and accurate settlement for all transactions• Review and research transactions which are failed to settle on due date• Review and research daily cash report• Run and Review daily morning upload which gives all exceptions• Daily Bank reconciliations and Holding reconciliations• Identification and research of differences arising out of the reconciliation• Preparing weekly quality and accuracy report• MIS for Senior Management
