What makes me tick (professionally):- When I started learning physics and mathematics, somewhere along the way I realised that everything out there is just absolutely beautiful. Since then it has been a thumb rule for me that "I could say I understand something only if I can appreciate the beauty of it!"-The act of solving problems keeps me excited- from complex integrals to mathematical modelling and data analysis. Developed own scalable code in python to simulate the dynamics of quantum condensed matter systems of non-interacting fermions under rime-dependent electromagnetic fields(light-matter interaction) on a lattice as part of my PhD. -Learning new mathematical techniques continually and using them- I consider it fun! Did someone say "Fractional Fourier transform" or "Generalisation of Pauli matrices?" I am all ears! (and on Wikipedia looking it up).-My ideal job - after the PhD- would be one where I get to do a lot of math and analytical thinking to solve real world problems- Using (and learning )mathematical techniques, mathematical modeling, coding stuff up to visualize and tackle problems, analyzing and playing with data! How quantities evolve in time- I call it dynamics- particularly interests me.-Passionate about learning and teaching mathematics and physics in an intuitive way. Since my bachelors in physics, I have been trying to plot every function -composite, product, sum- that I see in the textbooks BY HAND without using a software. I try to visualise 3-dimensional vector fields I come across. I love the act of visualising the beauty of equations on my mind and make sure that the equations that I see or write do make sense. Now whenever I see an equation or expression written down somewhere what I really see is how it looks physically drawn. This has been really helpful in both teaching and learning math and physics.- Believe that everyone deserves love, peace, kindness and happiness. Believe that love and kindness are way above law and rules. Continually trying to choose to be kind rather than to be right.-Physicist with 6 years of working experience in the higher education industry. Skilled in Mathematical Modelling and Mathematical thinking, Time-series analysis, Applied mathematics, Computational Physics, Theoretical Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, and University Teaching. Strong research professional with a Doctor of Philosophy(Ongoing) - PhD focused in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics from University of Regensburg.
