I am a seasoned physician researcher in the field of neuro-science, with extensive publications and original scientific findings. I am Board certified psychiatrist - as a Chief medical officers I oversaw the effective management of our medical services. I was responsible for managing clinical operations, liaising between the board, executive leadership and medical staff. I also oversaw medical compliance to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of medical care. I was responsible for the performance of physicians under our supervision. I informed our staff updated on new healthcare regulations. I was reporting to the Executive Chairman and our Board of Directors. I was also involved in recruiting and mentoring physicians, Physician assistants, Therapists, Nurse practitioners. I also helped our leadership in developing investment management plan, budget, our technology Road Map and Quality metrics. Prior to this I used to be the CEO of Psych Associates of Maryland which became Bloom Health Center we had several offices in the Baltimore DC region. In conjunction, these practices I was also the Founder of BloominMind HealthTech Inc, a health IT company with a focus on building product solutions and services for mental & behavioral health patients. Recently we have partnered with New Harbor Capital, a leading Healthcare focused Private Equity Group out of Chicago. Just in 12 Months we have merged with another large practice and became the largest platform in the Mid-Atlantic Region, thus taking which used to my small practice into the national scene in just under 4 years, we were four doctors, 10 therapists, two locations and just under $2.5M top line revenues in 2018 and now going into triple digit valuation. Additionally I am the Chairman for Research Committee at The Treatment Research Unit (TRU) services. Clinical and research focus are in the area of chronic psychiatric diseases and substance use disorders in adults. Psychotic spectrum disorders, Suicide and Neuro-cognition are an area of research interest, specifically development of useful biomarkers. Conducting in-depth evaluation and treatment of a broad range of psychiatric disorders and coordinating patient care through the available multidisciplinary team, which includes psychologists, nurses, occupational/physical therapists, social workers and case managers.
