Transplace is a leader in transportation management services and logistics technology, helping manufacturers, retailers and distributors optimize supply chain operations and increase financial performance. As an intern at this prestigious firm, I have designed a neural network model using TensorFlow to suggest best carrier and route assignments in Shipment Planning to improve on-time deliveries. I have also compared this model with other machine learning algorithms to check its performance.

McKesson Corporation is a Fortune Global 500 company, and the 6th highest revenue generating company in the United States. Its Medical-Surgical division offers medical supplies, healthcare solutions, distribution services and clinical resources.At McKesson, I analyzed data pertaining to different operations such as Inbound, Material Handling and Shipping to improve the delivery center’s supply chain. Some of the tasks that I performed are:• Forecasted sales and order lines of the delivery centers with an accuracy of 98% using exponential time smoothing and ARIMA techniques; developed a dashboard that depicts monthly forecasts and associated KPIs• Automated inventory reports using VBA in MS Excel after retrieving bin location data using SQL and improved the inventory visibility and quality control; designed a daily scorecard to show key metrics of the warehouse• Devised an employee performance assessment tool to help supervisors monitor warehouse productivity
