I am a sophomore and resident assistant at the University of Rochester studying Neuroscience with a minor in Philosophy. I am actively seeking opportunities for internships and clinical research in the fields of neuroscience and patient care. My goal has been to leave a lasting positive impact on the communities that I interact with, leading to my strong interest and contributions in Residential Life at my university. I hope to carry the community-building, leadership, and communication skills derived from my experiences to a career in the medical field as a neurologist, where I hope to commit to the improvement of the quality of patient care, communication, and treatment.I continue to be an active practitioner of taekwondo after 14 years of learning. I have achieved a 3rd-dan black belt, earned multiple national and state-level gold medals in poomsae and sparring, and have competed in many local tournaments throughout my journey. Though I no longer compete regularly, I have taken a huge interest in refereeing, coaching, and instructing taekwondo to students of all levels. I hope to continue my incredible journey as I work towards a 4th-dan black belt.
