Project Engineer
Current•Reporting to the Head of the Projects Department for the coordination with the relevant authorities, consultants, and the client throughout the project life cycle.• Data acquisition and liaise with authorities like RTA (ROW, TRAFFIC, ROADS), ETIHAD RAIL, DEWA, ETISALAT, DU, EMPOWER, ARMED FFORCES, DUSUP, EPCO, DOLPHIN ENERGY, TRAKHEES, NAKHEEL, EMARAT GAS and Service Agencies and Consultants for follow up and clarifying the utilities scope of work on daily basiswith the ultimate goal of obtaining their NOC.• Supporting to prepare NOC Drawing/ shop drawing-correction/feedback.Assessment of impact on any of the existing utilities and catering for any futurerequirements of utility agencies/ clients/stakeholders.• Participate in Project management meetings and Identify Engineering problemsand ensure solutions are implemented.• Supervise sub-contractors for Horizontal Directional Drilling, Cable pulling,Surface water manhole epoxy coating, verify the delivery of concrete precast elements and construction material conform to order requests and project design requirements.• Supervise piling works, ITS Ducts laying, Manholes, Foundations, interlock tile works, Protection barriers & Guard rail with End treatment installation per approved drawings.• Preparation/review/submission & following approval of various submittals from consultant & client such as shop drawings, material submittal RFI etc.• Assure all utilities activities follow the Authorities standards (Dewa, Etisalat, Du, ITS, Irrigation, Storm Water Drainage) and to be installed, adjusted, relocated within the right of way of road.• Organizing the distribution of manpower and heavy equipment to maximize productivity, led the teams through tight schedules by coordinating with other contractors and ensuring all required material are available.
