Owned the design and implementation of the Remote Wake service, a REST API developed on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. Defined the programming interface specifications used by client teams and ISVs. Implemented a highly scalable and available architecture for the service on AWS and configured application bootstrap and deployment through CloudFormation and python scripts. Developed the REST API as a WCF service using C# and .NET with Dynamo DB database. Developed log processing module for shipping logs from ephemeral instances to S3 and perform log analysis using Elastic Map Reduce (EMR).Integrated open source solutions in order to tailor the architecture to application requirements. Developed HAProxy based load balancing solution for TCP servers to support a custom keepalive protocol. Developed highly available NAT configuration with failover protection to remove a potential single point of failure. Configured NewRelic monitoring and developed additional custom metrics in order to monitor real time performance of the service and track improvements across iterations.

Developed PHP web application for provisioning subscribers and monitoring the health of application services in an IMS network using standardized SIP and LDAP protocols. Extensible user-friendly framework made it easy to configure new services to be monitored. Tabular views and graph plots of service delays and system availability helped to quickly identify and resolve issues. As part of the Systems Integration team, configured and setup Ericsson and 3rd party network equipment such as switches and media encoders to meet requirements of the deployment scenario. Integrated 3rd party software with Ericsson IMS core to deliver multimedia solution.Maintained ASP.NET web application with MS SQL Server database for managing hardware shipments and warranty information. Additional search functionality and direct data upload from excel files provided significant time savings to users. Implemented a query system to view historical information on shipments and returned equipment.Developed DotNetNuke module that displayed activities on a Calendar-like interface to easily identify and manage conflicts in activity scheduling. Implemented parts of the SIP protocol in the C# language to develop a tool that simulated client server interaction in order to facilitate testing in a lab environment.
