Machine Learning researcher for UC Berkeley in researching fisheries conservation. This issue is very important to the ocean economy and ecosystem as fisheries are a significant cause of ocean species extinction. For my research, I developed reinforcement learning models that simulated fisheries and monitored the effects of overfishing and reproduction. I engineered tf-agents and stable baseline algorithms such as Deep Q Networks and Soft Actor Critics, and created LSTM Neural Networks using PyTorch. I helped improved accuracy of algorithms by policy optimization and Q-Learning.

Spread awareness and advocacy about electronic waste. I’ve collected over 35,000 pounds of e-waste and have helped recycle it. I have also spread e-waste information through social media and my website. In 2019, I spoke publicly about the dangers of e-waste at the Milpitas City Hall in front of over 200 people. In the same year, I implemented a Python chatbot for customer website questions. As the Founder and president, I have led event planning, funding, logistics, and operations.

To bridge the education gap for STEM in my community, I founded a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that teaches advanced Python, Machine Learning for free. I teach classes every weekend to students from grades 5 - 12. I present lessons in engaging ways through games, projects, and constantly building fundamentals through practice. The students have gained confidence and have even taken the initiative to push themselves and qualify in hackathons and Math and Robotics competitions. I have taught over 300 students and have vocally advocated for my cause by speaking on the “Bay Area Beat” podcast, discussing the educational disparity in the Bay Area.

Implemented Robust Rest APIs using NodeJS to process user requests to access user data and handle HTTP requests for mobile app services. I also designed website architecture and components through AngularJS and front-end development. I deployed unit tests to debug and validated important software.

Programmer & Mechanic for a selective VEX team. I helped prototype and develop code for the robot using C++ & VEX Coding Studio. I assembled design & fixed parts, as well as helped facilitate idea development for the robot. I coordinated with officers and debugged code in competitions. With his position, I experienced accountability and how to work with the team. Our team qualified for playoffs in multiple competitions.
