In addition to functional testing, the test also includes checking for code coverage, static analysis, compatibility testing & performance testing.* Responsible for testing Java Side Loader on Rails (JSLOR) which offers services from middle tier and it retrieves the backed up data from the database. It uses Apache Tomcat as web server, Apache ActiveMQ to queue up all incoming restore requests.* Responsible for testing storage optimization product that aims at identifying & deleting the redundant data thereby saving the storage space. Developed a test tool in VC++ to automatically verify whether the optimization app removes only the redundant data.* Solely responsible for testing REST service used by Backup Web to notify the Backup Agent to start the backup & data restore.
