Hello, my name is Nithya Sri Muthuramalingam. I’m an enthusiastic learner who is passionate about acquiring new knowledge and continuously improving myself in various aspects. I’m currently working at HT accountant as a junior accountant where I have gained practical experience in bookkeeping, preparing VAT returns, and Data analysis. I completed my master’s in accounting and financial management at Coventry university-2024 where I learned my theoretical knowledge about financial statement analysis, business strategies, Audit, and Governance. This theoretical learning helped me in my practical work to understand the terms soon. My experience studying in the UK has shaped my career aspirations. The education approach in the UK made me confident in expressing myself. Apart from learning modules, and accounting theory knowledge, this education made me open to new people, new cultures, and a new way of education styles where I did a group project which helped me to develop my teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. It also made me volunteer to do things. These skills helped me in my workplace where I must work with my team members under tight deadlines with pressure but because of my experience at my university, I handled it with ease and completed my task on time. In my workplace, I learned technical skills like accounting software and statement analysis to prepare bookkeeping and VAT. Preparing invoices, sales daybook, and purchase daybook. I think all this is because of UK education which helped me to understand the things here. I’m eagerly awaiting new opportunities where I can learn more new things that help in my growth and my company's growth.
