Instructor and grader for one section of CHEM 1065: General Chemistry I Lab

Undergraduate Research Assistant at Xiong Lab (Environmental Engineering). Current work involves plant protein application to textiles as a filtration method for air- and waterborne pathogens.

Performs at cultural events, in classes w/ orchestral flutists & professors (i.e. Detroit & KC Symphony flutists, American Ballet Theater Principal Flute, Univ. of Kansas prof.), & has organized & performed in charity recitals. Recent experiences include performing with the United States Navy Band and Kansas All-State Band.

Teaches free online lessons to beginning flutists in elementary and middle school. Develops practice plans, weekly goals, & audition-prep timelines for students. Communicates with parents about student goals and lesson scheduling.
