One word that best describes me: I am a SEEKER. I enjoy researching academic streams and emerging career opportunities. Besides, I observe the changing dynamics of higher education & study abroad destinations. I stumbled upon a career that saw my 21-year old self turning into a counselor for students my age. Albeit an introvert, I enjoyed the one-on-one interactions with students and parents. There was meaning in understanding their dreams and challenges. In it, I found my perfect career match. Two decades later, the zeal is still intact. Despite the language barrier, I stepped outside the comfort zone, travelled extensively and gained early international exposure. What followed was a two-year coaching and mentoring role. It brought me up and close with brilliant students from top colleges in India. A shift down south saw me returning to the international education space. With it came my first taste of intrapreneurship, a passion I have followed for the past 13 years. Growing into senior roles in small firms bestowed vast opportunities for staff training. I always believe a good counselor is a partner in achieving students' long-term goals. The ideology led my foray into early career planning and college admission strategy. The result is a career coaching framework that looks beyond the interpretation of psychometric assessments. The method balances the aspirations of parents with the zeal of students. I emphasize and deep dive into all the influencing elements. From financial capabilities, family support to future possibilities, I study everything. As an impact-driven person, my focus is enabling students to be their best self. I have now embarked on a new trajectory to - Empower wannabe counselors. - Create digital products that support study abroad aspirants.- Help the school to college & college to career transition become smooth and successful. What keeps me going? The ability to turn dreams into goals and see them taking shape each day is a journey that has been both an emotional and uplifting experience.
