Current- Responsible for directing and managing the health care labor market research team, overseeing research and evidence to inform health workforce policies
- Lead the development of state and federal policy-relevant research agenda; conceptualize and oversee mixed methods research; develop strategies for research dissemination for multiple audiences in different formats.
- Hire, onboard and develop research staff and interns; manage and mentor staff to drive project and performance targets that align with overall strategic vision; foster a culture of team psychological safety.
- Manage and execute strategic planning; co-lead and manage cross functional teams; build consensus around competing work priorities; identify barriers to strategy implementation; develop workplans and metrics to track.
- Draft presentations, letters of support, grant proposals, podcasts scripts, reports, leadership talking points related to supply of health care workforce and impact of supply-side investments.
- Conduct market research for grants management systems (GMS) for state COVID-19 grants; selected vendors based on business needs; make a business case, present recommendations to leadership to invest in GMS and receive.
