I am a corporate strategy professional with deep experience in strategy development for companies in different stages of their lifecycle- hyper growth, stagnant growth and turnaround. My strategy skills come from working across various roles and projects across a spectrum of industry segments- Telecom, Healthcare, Govt. Transportation- and domains- IT Services, BPO, IoT, SaaS, High Tech.-operating in both technology services and product centric businesses. I started my professional career designing complex next generation telecom circuits that created a strong foundation for big picture thinking with being detailed oriented. I completed business education (MBA) during the Great recession where I learnt, real time, the interplay between macroeconomics, corporate finance and business strategy. Post MBA, I worked on the business management side, supporting executive and senior management, across variety of business transformation, financial strategy and corporate strategy roles. Some of my most significant projects included adapting the business model for the future while the current business was strong (which is extremely challenging from a change management perspective); creating comprehensive capital allocation strategy to inform M&A and shareholder return mechanism by building a detailed geo wise cash flow projections and overlaying different strategic options impacting those cash flows; driving business strategy and partnership development for a newly incubated business unit based on a future technology trend; setting up a portfolio strategy for a very diversified conglomerate business including keep, sell and buy considerations; building a corporate strategy team and creating strategic planning, competitive intelligence routines from scratch.
