Working in Ab-Initio MDW (ACE) and Teradata CLDM framework.2. Analysing and fixing data quality issues.3. Continuous interaction with BA's to understand current system issues and new business requirements.4. System improvements and enhancements, performance optimisation, delivering patches, and resolving batch failures.5. Providing RCA and code fix for recurring failures.6. End-to-end system flow understanding to deliver solutions quickly to avoid any business impact.7. Mentoring new team members and providing continuous guidance to the other team members.

In Barclays working on Group Capital Reporting which provides a solution for BASEL II & BASEL III Capital Reporting. Implementation of BASEL II provided the way bank sources, calculates and prepares the risk information it supplies to the regulators. This information is then used by regulators to assess the amount of capital Bank require to hold. Basel solution from SAS calculates RWA for credit risk and produces reports for regulators.Ab-Initio is the selected ETL tool of the design & SAS CRE provides solution for calculating and reporting the consolidated RWA figures for Regulatory Capital (RC) & the calculations for Economic Capital (EC).Responsibilities mainly includes handling data quality issues, identifying and providing permanent fix for the recurring issues, handling production failures, performance tuning and small enhancements.

EIW project involved in providing L3 production supports for Data warehousing ETL Process, which involves Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Development and Testing, and Release Coordination. It involves a lot of coordination and interaction with the client, external team members, SA’s and DBAs for ensuring seamless functioning of client’s business applications that deal with data warehousing and data mining.
